a visual exploration of emotions

bleed

Bleed is a visual exploration of my own emotions, and in particular, the way I deal with emotions that are deemed unfeminine and unseemly. Like many others, I found myself dealing with these emotions head on during the isolation of the pandemic, and when I began to process them, I realized that these feelings were centered in different parts of my body.

Through feeling each emotion in my body, I was able to understand and verbalize my feelings in a way that was both extremely vulnerable and very exciting to me. Bleed focuses on the connection between body, mind, and feeling and leans into the vulnerability of liberated emotions.
